The theory of warming and cooling foods comes from Chinese Medicine and when we apply food energetics to our dogs, we're told that there are ‘Hot' dogs and ‘Cold' dogs.

HOT DOG

They seek out cool places to relax and sleep. They may be hot to the touch and pant even when at rest. They may suffer from allergies, red skin and eyes, and may show signs of anxiety. Therefore, anxious pets (hot dogs, for example) would benefit from our calming treats that incorporate a lot of the cooling or neutral foods. Pets that suffer from allergies may benefit from our Elk, Beef, or Chicken bone broths as well as Sheep milk.

COLD DOG

They seek out warm places to sleep and rest and are relaxed and calm. They love blankets and snuggling, so they love to sleep with you in bed. They may exhibit lack of appetite at times or be a fussy eater. They would greatly benefit from hot foods like Venison or Ostrich bone broth as well as Sheep Milk and Sheep Kefir.
